New York, NY 鈥 October 21, 2013 鈥 Clear Channel Media and Entertainment (CCM+E), the leading media company in America with a greater reach than any other radio or television outlet, today announced that it has named respected media executive Tim Spengler to the newly created position of President of Content Marketing and Revenue Strategy. He will be based in New York City and report to CCM+E Chairman and CEO John Hogan.

In this new role, Spengler will use CCM+E's array of multiplatform assets to develop new and innovative media and advertising opportunities in unison with CCM+E National Programming Platforms, National Sales, Marketing and Partnership Platform and Local Sales. He will build additional value for CCM+E marketing partners by creatively utilizing all of the company鈥檚 media and entertainment assets 鈥 delivering enhanced ROI鈥檚 with unique solutions.听 In addition, Spengler will focus on advertiser and industry trends to drive new ad products and deployment of CCM+E revenue resources.

Spengler has been a senior executive for the Interpublic Group (IPG), a leading global advertising holding company, for nearly two decades, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of MAGNA GLOBAL, the strategic media investment and intelligence arm of IPG Mediabrands. In that role, he leveraged relationships with media companies across the world to maximize value for IPG鈥檚 clients.

Prior to that, Spengler was President, North America, for Initiative, one of IPG鈥檚 three worldwide media networks. Under his leadership, Initiative was named U.S. Media Agency of the Year in 2008 by both Advertising Age and Adweek. He has also been recognized as an Advertising Age 鈥淢edia Maven,鈥 an Adweek 鈥淢edia All-Star鈥 and TV Week鈥檚 Media Executive of the Year.
