鈥淚mmortals鈥 No.1 box office performance follows the No. 1 debut of Limitless earlier this year, marking the second time that Clear Channel has put its marketing muscle behind the opening of one of our films,鈥 said Terry Curtin, Relativity鈥檚 President, Theatrical Marketing. 鈥淭hese successful collaborations prove that Clear Channel can be depended on to deliver innovative, national and local marketing campaigns that reach and engage consumers wherever they are.鈥
The partnership between Clear Channel and Relativity Media, which launched in April, is a year-long effort designed to drive box office sales and promote a number of major films by leveraging Clear Channel鈥檚 monthly reach of 238-million consumers through innovative cross-platform marketing campaigns. The Immortals promotion comes on the heels of the companies鈥 first collaboration earlier this year with Limitless, starring Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish and Robert De Niro which also took the No. 1 spot at the box office in its debut weekend.
